SpiceRoads Cycle Tours has undergone a transformation!
Began in 1995 by Hamish Keith, SpiceRoads grew into a global, cycle touring brand that leads eye-opening cycling adventures in over 30 destinations around the world. While we’ve had a lot of adventures since 1995, this new one is of a different variety: we’ve rebranded!
Our goal with the rebrand was to take more of what our customers love about SpiceRoads- cycling-focused tours in emerging destinations, professional service, and great value- and bring it into the future.
The new SpiceRoads brands more accurately represents who we are as an adventure cycling company. The active, trailblazing, dedicated cycle touring company we’ve always been, and will continue to be.
What’s Changed?
Our Name
We’re now SpiceRoads Cycling. We’ve dropped the “Cycle Tours” in favor of a brand name that emphasizes more of what we love: cycling.
Our Motto
From “See Asia by Bicycle,” to “See the World by Bicycle,” we’ve changed our motto over the years as we expanded.
For everyone in the SpiceRoads family, including our customers, traveling by bike is an unforgettable, life changing experience. It’s not just about seeing the world, it’s about changing how you see it.

What’s New?
A major aspect of our transformation is the addition of SpiceRoads tour Styles. In the past, you could find a trip you wanted based on bike preference or duration. But as cycling travel has evolved, the experience of a cycling trip is about more than just the type of bike you ride.
SpiceRoads now has 5 distinct Tour Styles that offer a specific experience:
Touring: Our largest and most comprehensive range of tours, previously called our “Classic” tours.
Road: Pure road cycling tours.
Excursions: Short tours ranging from half a day, to 4 days.
Trails: Mountain biking adventures on all kinds of terrain.
Epic: Once-in-a-lifetime, expedition-level trips in remote locations.

Will this affect our tours?
Yes and no. Customer favorite tours, of every style, will still be offered. We’ll continue to design and run more of what we know our customers already love about SpiceRoads trips, while adding new destinations and experiences.
Expect to see new trips within our Road and Epic ranges.

In conjunction with all of these changes, we’ve completely updated our website. We’ve made big changes to reflect the new look of the brand, but also to make the site easier to use. You’ll find a totally redesigned TripFinder, to make searching for your next trip a simple, seamless experience, as well as updated information our new tour styles, our destinations, and our tour pages.
The new site is now easier to use and easier to view, it will scale to any size screen. So you can browse, research, and book from your smartphone, tablet, or computer!
