The evening of Winter Wonderland Magic began with an elegant cocktail hour. When the ballroom doors opened, gala guests were delighted by a “SNOW storm” in the archway which they were invited to brave. There was an ice bar, lots of food for the guest to indulge in, raffles, silent auctions and of course speeches including His Excellency Canadian Ambassador Philip Cavert.
Happy winners were thrilled to receive prizes such as air tickets, hotel packages and not forgetting a SpiceRoads cycling tour for two. The proceeds from the silent auction, raffle and ticket sales which totaled XXXX were donated to worth charities supporting the needy in Thailand.
