Bhutan’s first Dragon’s Fury Race 2015

For the cyclist looking for a challenge this unique racing experience is like no other – push yourself to the limit for 60 kms and up 1, 740 metres in the spiritual Himalayan mountains of the Kingdom of Bhutan.

The first ever Dragon’s Fury Race is taking place on September 5, 2015 and is well timed to participate in before our Mystical Bhutan tour that starts on September 6.

SpiceRoads has made it easy for you to participate by taking care of all the arrangements before and after the event as well as race registration. The 3-day package includes race registration, visa, pick up from Paro airport, transfers, 2 nights accommodation, selected meals and transfer to the start of the Mystical Bhutan tour.

The Dragon’s Fury is the first short-distance race in Bhutan to run alongside the epic Tour of the Dragon.  Billed as one of the toughest one day mountain bike race in the world the Tour of Dragon is 268 kms long and riders must climb four mountain passes!  Bargo Brothers & Backpacker Films / Bhutan Olympic Committee have developed a video about the longer 268km race.  Check it out below.
